Valentine's Day Give Away!

Well, my doves, I've been wanting to do a give away for a while, but haven't had the time to make something for it. As luck would have it, this lovely headband you see below is slightly imperfect... I accidentally made a very tiny tear in the fabric with my seam ripper. It's still perfectly fine to wear and hardly noticeable but I don't want to sell it, so I thought one of you might enjoy it. So what better way to warm your head and your heart this chilly February than a give away! And I'll also throw in a couple more little surprises.

To enter, all you have to do is share with me something you love. Yes, "love" is the word. It can be a photo, a recipe, a poem, a quote, a story, anything! I'll choose one lucky ducky winner on Saturday, February 14th at 12 noon. Please tell all your friends. Everyone is welcome to enter!

I LOVE the scene with the girls in the tent of sheets filled with paper stars. It is so cosy and warm, it touches my heart and makes me wish for a family like that someday.
I love the smell of spring. in my life i often overlook things happening around me, and go through my days in a daze. but if i happen to go outside and it smells like spring after a long winter ... i just feel stunned, and have to stop and just breathe and be happy to be alive.

hi dearest bonnie!
i particularly *love* this poem i wrote, because usually my poems are terrible:

flits about,
hides head,
shows feathers,
beauty like the peacock,
flies south all winter.
i wait,
impatiently tapping my feet on the high wires,
for your return,
dance around the electricity.
love.
