Blueberry Days

Oh my! I'm not sure if it's the summer sun or if it's pregnancy exhaustion, but my brain is mush! I'm thinking of only doing picture posts for a while after this to give my brain cells a chance to to regenerate. Luckily, despite busy long days in the store, we are managing to have some good old fashion summer fun.

Below are photos from our blueberry picking adventure with Miss Tara in NH. Freshly picked blueberries are so good! We had a nice little two day get away with her at her parents lake house and swam and conversed and canoed and Jake and Tara played some beautiful tunes in the early morn' on the beach. I love when you actually get the opportunity to have those lazy summer days that you so dream of...





Blueberry picking is quite a science, as Tara taught us. You must be ever so selective, and if you're not sure about a particular blueberry, just pop it in your mouth to make sure.






They really smelt so delicious! Saturday morning we had some delicious blueberry muffins that were too good to even snap a photo of.

Here are some things we're also hoping to do this summer:

-More canoeing!
-Swimming in the river!
-Camping!
-Picnicing!
-Making homemade vegetarian marshmallows (anyone have a good recipe) and s'more making!
-Laying about in the hammock!
